Please review customer service report CNN230823790393. Although initially I really liked the simplicity of the washer I was totally disappointed when it broke down after 1.5 years of minimal use. The repair was expensive and extensive. I determined that the machine was flawed since it broke so soon after purchase. I asked LG to pay for some of the cost. See information sent in with the service report.

I purchased this a little over a month ago and Its going pretty well. Connecting it to your phone is a bit of a pain. I recommend following a YouTube video. Instructions are terrible and the app doesnt provide very good instructions either. But when its paired it works. No major issue and and clothes are being washed just fine.

Great features if you can access them

If you can use your cell phone to control the washer you have. Any great features that are not accessible on the washer itself. I have Wi-Fi but I have been unable to access the extra features and have to use the controls on the washer itself. They are still good but not as many options. The dryer wont finish drying our bathing suits even when the dryer is set to the longest drying length. If the dryer finishes its cycle leaving clothes damp you cant go back and make the dryer work long enough to really dry the clothes.

I bought the LG Washtower with Turbo Wash and Steam Dryer about a month ago. I previously had a LG front load side by side washer and dryer which I loved. This Washtower model even better. Its quiet quick uses less water and has AI technology and fabric sensors that take care of your clothing. I have limited space and replace an 15 year old apartment size stack unit. The tub was so small that only one sheet would fit per load. The washer had no water level setting and the dryer ran forever. The new Washtower is an amazing appliance. I would recommend to any size family from 1 to ???. My previous LG side by side model was much louder in the spin cycle and seemed to run for a long time. The Washtower makes laundry quick and easy. Im very satisfied with the value and quality of the LG Washtower. It was money well spent.

It took a bit of reading the manual until we learned all of the settings. Quiet efficient thorough built like a tank. This little machine has it all. An excellent choice indeed

Reverse door

Im so glad I read these reviews. The sales person I talk to said they were I definitely need my doors to swing the other way. They really missed out on this convenience. So sad I was looking forward to this tower.

Works Great

Machine that first showed up had a broken door. 2 weeks later received the new one. It has worked great. We had an LG top load before and were frustrated with it never being able to sensor the water right. So far this model has worked very well and takes up way less space.

A couple of months after warranty was up the gasket in the washing machine failed and I had to be replaced at my expense. I am very unhappy about paying for new gasket replacement.

Learned something I did not know

The washer and drier work great and efficiently. I like the dryer features that I can adjust the time from 20 minutes with 10 minutes intervals to 60 minutes or use automatic sensor to dry. One time the washer run a whole cycle but did not release water. I had the machine serviced and the service person said that I put too much soap and this may cause this problem. Nowadays laundry detergents are normally concentrated. I only need 1 tablespoon of detergent to wash half load of cloth. With a full load 2 Tablespoon is enough. The machine sensor release the right amount of water to wash the cloth and too much soap for too long can cause the problem. I am glad to learn this lesson or I will continue to put too much soap every time I wash clothing.

Dryer door leaks at the bottom

LG service is unreliable. They give you the run around on the phone say theyll call you back and of course never do. So I still have a leaky dryer door.

We recently purchased the laundry tower to replace our 10 year old Frigidare laundry center. We love the new unit. Clothes are done in a timely manner and runs so very quite. It took a bit to get used to it as it was very different from our old unit. We would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.

Lied to about Rebate

Bought this at Home Depot was told by the appliance floor manager multiple times there was a $400 rebate from LG on this washtower. There was even a sticker on the machine that said there would be a rebate on it. Two weeks later LG says my washtower doesnt apply. Refuses to accept any responsibility and pointed all the blame at Home Depot who said LG said wash tower. The loser in this is me -- I get no rebate. I wont buy another LG appliance nor an appliance at Home Depot again.

Whisper Quiet

I bought this laundry tower to replace a 15 year old stacked washer/dryer. Cleanliness seems about the same but these units are faster. Whats really amazing is how quiet they are. Rather than raise our voices or the volume on the TV we wind up checking on the machines to verify that they are operating. They are that quiet.

Its been over a year with this machine and we primarily bought it because our previous set up took up too much space so this was a no brainer in terms of vertical space usage. Great combination of washing and drying

The LG WashTower is the marriage of form and function. The space saving design has allowed me to easily add it to an area of my renovated laundry space and freed up enough space for a much coveted laundry sink. Controls are easy to see and use. The ThinQ functions are great to have for additional laundry care options. The washer is very efficient with water but clothes come out clean and fresh every time. Having the dryer linked to the washer is absolutely a user friendly option. The dryer knows what to do based on the washer settings. It is so quiet Im glad to have the app to tell me when the washer or dryer is done. I do wish LG would add a soak downloadable option for the washer. That being said Im enjoying the WashTower and all its functionality and design

LG Outdid Themselves This Time

My LG Tower is the best washer and dryer that Ive ever purchased. I dont think it can get better than this. I guess I could wish for a place inside the washer to store laundry detergent and dispense when washing as needed. The washer communicates the settings with the dryer so all you have to do is start the dryer. I must warn you this unit is very heavy which is good to prevent the unit from being tipped over. Im not a big fan of the download settings but that is just me. I do it on occasion

I purchased my LG washer dryer stack tower after Christmas. Its the first time Ive had a new set since I always bought used in the past. I can truly say it is now a joy to do laundry. I love the control board in the middle. No more standing on tiptoes to read dials. The size of the stack is compact yet it doesnt sacrifice space in the machines. Thanks LG for your excellent use of space.

Its been exactly one year since we bought this washer/dryer combo and on top of saving a ton of space in our laundry room it has been very efficient and easy to use. The machine has an excellent sensor system that realizes very quickly if your clothes are dry and stops the dryer to save energy.

stopped working warranty not honored

I bought this a little more than a year ago. Before the year was up the washing machine started to malfunction on quick wash. I put a service request in. After about 6 weeks still no service. Very frustrating.
